WNY Tobacco-Free Programs Recognition Event

On May 28, 2009, the Western New York Tobacco-Free Programs recognized key leaders throughout the area who have made advances towards eliminating tobacco in our community.

Commissioner Daines makes surprise visit to WNY Cancer Coalition Breakfast

Dr. Richard Daines, Commissioner of Health for New York State made a brief appearance at this morning's breakfast hosted by the Western New York Cancer Coalition held to educate our area legislators about our Tobacco Control Program and the Cancer Screening Program.

The Anchor Bar in Downtown Buffalo was the site for a press event celebrating five years of clean indoor air at workplaces including restaurants and taverns.
